COAD Senior Programs- RSVP’s main purpose is to provide volunteer referral and management services to local non-profits. RSVP recruits senior citizens ages 55 and older who desire to serve their community, and we link them to interested non-profit agencies. These non-profit agencies greatly benefit from the services of the RSVP volunteers with their varied skills and knowledge base. RSVP places volunteers and acts as the liaison between the volunteers and the volunteer sites. RSVP’s Volunteers focus their efforts in five strategic areas: healthy futures, education, public safety and disaster prevention, economic development, and environmental awareness.
