We’re Working Harder Than Ever to Promote Your Business!

Ways Your Business Can Thrive as a Member of the Jackson Area Chamber of Commerce

1.) A Brand New Website!– We’re revamping our look to focus more on your business! Chamber members will be listed in the new “Membership Directory”. Does your business have a website? If so, let us know and we will feature a direct link to your website address on your Members’ Directory listing.

2.) Connect With Social Media- The Jackson Area Chamber of Commerce is now on Facebook and Twitter! Have your business follow us on one or both of these versatile platforms and we’ll follow you back! Chamber members will also get random posts retweeted on Twitter and re-posted on Facebook by the Chamber’s account. Have something special to announce? Send us a message to let us know, and we’ll help you promote it!

3.) Chamber Mailing Labels-Whether you wish to get your message out directly to all Chamber members of just a select few, use a printed set of labels we supply for $10 (free to nonprofits.) Please contact the Chamber office for details on how to receive your mailing labels.

4.) Brochure and Business Card Display at the Chamber Office– Space is available for your materials in our Chamber office lobby. The racks will hold trifolds, flyers and business cards. You are responsible for keeping your slot filled. This service is free to Chamber members.

5.) Annual Appreciation Banquet– Attendance is approximately 200 for this annual fall event in which members celebrate the Chamber’s successes from the previous year. Donate a door prize. Please secure your spot at least two weeks ahead of the event. Attend and network with other Chamber members!

6.)  Attend a Business After Hours– Did you attend our last Business After Hours event? If not, you missed a great time! Hosting or sponsoring one of these mixers can do wonders for the image of your business. You provide the food and refreshments (from other Chamber members, of course) and you decide if you’d like to hand out door prizes, coupons, or any other type of promotional item. If your place isn’t large enough or you want to share the cost of an event, the Chamber will try to find a partner or two.

7.) Exhibit in our Spring Business Showcase– This annual showcase event is normally held in late March or early April (dates announced by January each year.) The Spring Business Showcase has grown to include over 60 business exhibitors for the weekend show and draws between 1,300 and 1,700 patrons. Consider renting a booth space for your business. Booth space is limited and priority is given to Chamber members when reserving a spot. Exhibitors receive free and discounted admission!

8.) Advertising for Special Events– Chamber Members are given the opportunity to advertise during certain Chamber events throughout the year. Get your logo on the back of our Freedom Fest t-shirts, contribute signage to the Chamber Welcome Board in Manpower Park or sponsor a hole at our annual Jackson County Open Golf Tournament.

9.) Are you saving on your BWC Premium?-The Jackson Area Chamber partners with CareWorks Consultants, Inc. (CCI) to help Chamber members maximize their premium savings. CCI analyzes each employer’s unique claim and premium history to find the highest level of savings in all workers’ compensation programs.

10.) Save on Insurance Rates– To members of our Chamber, there are health insurance benefits available for those wishing to offer benefits to two or more employees. The details of our plan are available through McNelly-Gahm Insurance and Consulting in Jackson. They can outline the possible savings you might qualify for as a member of the Jackson Area Chamber.
