Spring is here, and the 23rd annual Jackson County Spring Showcase business exposition is just over one week away!
The annual event will be held on Friday, March 22 and Saturday, March 23 at the Jackson High School Field House.
Hours for the general public will be on Friday from 5-8 p.m., and on Saturday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. There will be coupons worth $1 off admission price available at local grocery outlets in Jackson County starting this weekend. Coupons will also be available at registered businesses.
“We have re-energized our event over these past five years by moving to the Jackson High School Field House with the inclusion of our Jackson County Food Court,” said Randy Heath, the Executive Director of the Jackson Area Chamber Of Commerce which sponsors the event. “We thank the schools for their cooperation in our event.”
Heath said there is still time for businesses who want to exhibit to sign up. He urges them to call the Chamber of Commerce at 286-2722.
“We have over 50 exhibit spaces reserved so far, and they include a wide variety of products and services which are all available here locally,” noted Heath. “It is beneficial to large and small businesses alike, especially those who wish to gain a large public exposure in a very short amount of time.”
“There is plenty of parking for everyone, plenty of room within the field house and those who have participated in the Food Court certainly have added a wonderful touch,” he commented, adding that each booth again will have the black pipe and drape backdrop that enhances the exhibits.
Heath explained that the exhibition grew from a need to allow businesses both large and small to promote their goods and services to a large number of people at one time.
“I know that, especially for our smaller businesses, this has been a tremendous asset and all of our exhibitors certainly appreciate the patronage we have received from the public,” he added. “The public support is what has made this a success, and we are truly appreciative to those who take time from their busy schedule to support our business community.”
